First service in the new building. (audio recordings)
at Walnut Creek Community Church (walnutcreekcc.org, Des Moines, Iowa) we just finished our building addition. This is a link to a mix right out of the board with a little compression and some verb thrown on to ease things out a bit. Next week, Josh McDowell speaks so we are trying to work out the kinks very quickly. I will post pics of the new facility soon as well.
Mains are Nexo ps 15 & ps 8's
Amps are Camco vortex 4s
Console is a Yamaha M7cl
Drum Mics are the sennheiser 900 series. Plate mic on the kick which some of you may not really be in love with.
Guitars are stereo 906 and a senn 421 on one and a 906 and a 57 on other guitar.
other than that it is pretty simple.
take a listen, shoot me your thoughts.

Wow, that's a good band. What compression ratio did you put on those vocals? Who's leading?
You're right about the kick, I didn't enjoy it much, but it could sound different in the room with subs and crossovers and room resonance.
I miss being able to mix in stereo - our whole system is mono due to the fan-shaped room having to have a center cluster of speakers. Things can get muddy at times.
